Psalidi is a small resort on Kos Island, the second largest of the Dodecanese Islands in Greece. It is three kilometres east of the island’s capital, Kos Town. Holidays in Psalidi offer the best of both worlds; you can make the most of Psalidi’s quieter atmosphere, yet be within striking distance of the amenities and nightlife of Kos Town. Psalidi has a sand and shingle beach and a great range of tavernas and restaurants along the waterfront, which serve a diverse selection of food. The weather is excellent: the temperature stays in the 20 to 30 degree range all the way between April and September. The beach, is primarily shingle, and is less crowded than some of the other beaches on the island. Psalidi beach also offers some of the safest swimming on the island for less confident swimmers.

The beach is less accessible than other nearby beaches, which is a boon for those travellers who like their beaches less crowded.
