Things to do

Orlando Holidays and Theme Parks
By far and away the biggest draw for holidaymakers to Orlando is to enjoy the theme parks that have become recognised the world over. Walt Disney World continues to push the envelope when it comes to theme parks, offering a multitude of attractions that appeal to both children and adults whilst on holiday in Orlando. Walt Disney World is a magical place where Mickey Mouse and many of his cartoon colleagues are brought to life and mingle amongst visitors in the Magic Kingdom. Animal Kingdom offers beautifully landscaped Asian and African settings home to hundreds of animals. Another part of Walt Disney World is the Epcot centre, which was formerly home to Walt Disney’s utopian view of the future. The Epcot centre is now a fantastic interactive exhibition of scientific innovation, space exploration and deep-sea technology. With so many attractions on offer, visitors are consistently keen to return to the theme parks to experience everything that they have to offer.

SeaWorld
In addition to the region’s theme parks, people can also discover one of the world’s most famous aquariums, SeaWorld. Renowned for its wide range of marine creatures and even roller coasters, it is home to a killer whale called Shamu, dolphins, sea lions, and sharks. For those on Orlando Holidays there are also a number of rides to enjoy, including the floorless roller coaster Kraken, and face-first roller coaster Manta. SeaWorld is also home to the ‘Wild Arctic’ display featuring polar bears and walruses, which is used as the backdrop for the ‘Polar Express Experience’ at Christmas.

Experience the Movies
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a theme park offering an interesting look back at the golden age of cinema of the 1930s and 1940s. With something for every generation, Disney Hollywood Studios is designed to resemble the back lots of a film studio from the golden age of movies. Universal Orlando Resort is another theme park that celebrates the magic of film. The Universal Orlando Resort focuses on more modern movies than its counterpart, the Disney Hollywood Studios. This is the place where Pirates of the Caribbean was first dreamt of as a ride, however, Universal Studios refuses to rest upon its laurels and continues to create incredible attractions to thrill all visitors. Its latest attraction to open is The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, an adventure park themed around J.K Rowling’s phenomenally successful books.
