Things to do

Magaluf Offers a Family Atmosphere
Magaluf has been somewhat divided since it earned a reputation for playing host to crowds of drunken youths in the 1980s. Since then, however, it has made an effort to restore the family atmosphere that had previously helped establish it as a prime holiday destination. Today, things have improved so much that a family can once again enjoy a traditional Magaluf holiday. Palma Nova seems to be the most popular resort in the area with families, while other areas remain a favourite with the 18-30 crowd.

Something for Everyone
With so many activities to choose from, it is difficult knowing where to begin, but most are water or beach related, as you would expect. Enjoying family days on a pedal boat, renting a mini-boat, jet skiing or trying your hand at water-skiing are some of the more common pastimes that families will try during their Magaluf holiday. However, there are also organised excursions on catamarans and glass bottom boats.

Nightlife
As the sun begins to set, most will begin to look for the evening’s entertainment. Whether it is a quiet dinner or a night of dancing, you will certainly find whatever it is you are looking for. While Magaluf has one of Europe’s largest nightclubs, B.C.M., it also has many smaller pubs, themed bars and dance clubs.

Where to Find the Best Beaches
This resort offers its visitors three beaches that have become renowned for their exquisite white sand. They are Palma Nova Beach, Majorca Beach and Magaluf Beach. Each of them is lined with small shops and bars that are backed by hotels. Palma Nova Beach is popular with families, while Magaluf Beach and Majorca Beach tend to attract a younger crowd.
