The peak tourist season in Luxor runs from November to March. During this time of the year, maximum temperatures will usually be between 20°C and 30°C with minimum temperatures hovering around 10°C.
Rainfall is negligible and it is unlikely that rain will ever have an effect on your travel plans. The little rain that does fall usually occurs between March and June.
Summer statistics
Temperatures in the summer months are high. The maximum temperature between June, July, and August can easily peak at around 50°C. It does cool down to somewhere in the 20s at night. If you decide to travel to Luxor during this time of the year, you can look forward to huge discounts on your hotel bill, but do not even consider staying at a hotel without air-conditioning.
