Although Lanzarote is still warm in the winter, hitting temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius; the most popular time to visit is in the summer. With very little rainfall on the island and sunshine all year round, a holiday in Lanzarote is perfect for a warm beach getaway. It is the hottest of the Canary Islands and can reach temperatures of up to 40 degrees when the sea wind is not blowing in. Evening temperatures at the peak of season stay around 20 degrees.
