Hurghada Holidays - All Inclusive and Last Minute Cheap Holidays Packages Deals Hurghada
General Information
The Egyptian resort of Hurghada was once, long ago, a quiet little fishing village. You cannot hide crystal clear waters, unspoilt coral reefs and a whole range of shipwrecks forever though, and this town has now become one of Egypt’s most popular holiday resorts.
Main features of Hurghada holidays
Hurghada certainly has a lot of sunshine – few people will dispute this fact. It also has an intriguing town centre with many mosques and bazaars and a very lively atmosphere. It is situated on the Red Sea coast.
Hurghada Holidays allow you to relax on the beach
A Hurghada holiday is certainly a beach holiday with a difference. It is the ideal holiday destination for those who want to combine a cultural experience with lazing on the beach. You can spend your days on the beach, taking part in a wide variety of activities (see below) and you can alternate this with browsing through the markets and relaxing at a street café while watching the world go by.
Visit surrounding areas on your Hurghada Holidays
Hurghada itself is a modern town, so there are no ancient temples, Pyramids or Sphinxes. The town is, however, well connected to other places in Egypt and overseas by plane, boat, and bus. There are direct international flights to and from Europe and regular flights to Cairo. Long distance buses also regularly travel between Hurghada and Cairo (it takes seven hours). It is also possible to visit the archaeological wonders of Luxor by bus, a trip that only takes four to five hours. It is therefore quite feasible to use Hurghada as a base to explore the ancient wonders of Egypt.
Why visit?
The main reason most tourists visit Hurghada is to enjoy the sun, the sea and the sand. While Europe is groaning under a blanket of snow in December and January, you can tan under the African sun every day, swim to your heart’s content and enjoy numerous other water sports and beach activities.
Who will find a Hurghada holiday attractive?
Both the young and the old will enjoy Hurghada. There are more than enough activities day and night to keep the most active youngsters happy. Older people will appreciate the climate, the beautiful views and the many restaurants and shopping opportunities.
