The Spanish style resort area of Cala’n Forcat is located on the western most coast of the island of Menorca. The Aeropuerto de Menorca is where you will arrive when starting your Cala’n Forcat holidays. It will then take approximately an hour and a quarter for you to travel to the peace and quiet of the Cala’n Forcat area.

Getting Around
Getting around during your Cala’n Forcat holidays is not difficult as there is plenty of good public transportation all around the resort area. Getting there from the airport is a fairly easy jaunt, and it is a relatively straight drive through, although it will take just over an hour to arrive if travelling by car hire, taxi, or bus. You can also hire a taxi to take you from the airport to your place of accommodation. If you need a car seat for your little one, most of the taxis do not carry them as standard equipment, but if you call ahead you can have one brought to you.

Accommodation and Food Options
Self catered villas that can be let from local owners are a delightful way to spend a holiday away from it all. If you prefer a larger traditional hotel setting, there are a few of those in the area as well. The grocery markets have slightly higher prices than what you would pay in UK markets, but the brands you will find there are familiar, so there will be no worry if your child must have his favourite cereal to be happy while on Cala’n Forcat holiday.
