Mild Climate
The Balearic Islands have a temperate Mediterranean climate. The temperatures are never excessive even at the height of summer due to the cool breezes from the sea. The winters are generally mild with occasional showers.
Mild Temperatures All Year Round
Temperatures are lower in the months of November to March, ranging from eight to 15 degrees Celsius in January to 12 to19 degrees Celsius in November. The warmest months are May to October when temperatures range from 15 to 22 degrees Celsius in May to 16 to 23 degrees Celsius in October, reaching a peak in the months of June (18 to 26), July (21 to 29) and August (22 to 29).
Rainfall
Rainfall is highest in October and November, although January, February and April can also see fairly high rainfalls. The best time to visit the islands is in the months of May to October, although July and August do tend to be very busy.
